Lord Mayor’s Friendship Ceremony

Today I attended an event I was invited to by Queensland University of Technology, where the Lord Mayor of Brisbane and his colleagues payed a special thanks to the international students for our contribution to Brisbane city and labour force. It was quite a nice ceremony with speeches, food and drinks, live music and a performance by a group of Indigenous Australians. I got a certificate of friendship and had an opportunity to network with some of the leaders in the work force.

  1. I’m new to the wordpress.com and just setting up my blog. In the process I took time out to explore other blogs and came across yours. I’m Canadian and First Nations so easily appreciated your photos of the indigenous Australians. Thanks for sharing them. And as I understand your going to law school (or why the books?), best of luck in that endeavour. Three of my First Nations ex-coworkers have also gone that route and I’m sure you will be as successful as them.
